About Gearvana

Gearvana is building a local outdoor gear rental marketplace for New Zealand. We want to connect people with spare tents, kayaks, ski gear and roof boxes with neighbours and travellers who need them for their next adventure.

Our mission is simple: get more use out of the gear we already own. We’re planning an initial beta in Canterbury and Otago, with clear rental terms, local handovers and trust features designed into the booking experience.
