New Zealand gear sharing · Beta in the making
Less gear gathering dust. More getting outside.
Borrow outdoor kit from people nearby. Put your own to work between adventures. Gearvana is building a local rental marketplace for New Zealand’s next great weekend.
Starting locally in Canterbury & Otago.

Your spare tent. Someone’s first night under the stars.
Our founding commitments
Local people, local handovers
Clear terms before you book
More use from existing gear
From garage to great outdoors
An adventure doesn’t need a shopping list.
For weekend wanderers, travelling light, and owners with a well-stocked garage. One local community, on both sides of the rental.
The gear we’re bringing together
Tents & camping kit
Kayaks & paddles
Ski gear & roof boxes
Camper trailers
Availability will depend on local lenders as the beta grows.
Find your next weekend’s kit
Browse gear close to where your adventure begins. Compare lender-set rental rates, dates and pickup details before choosing.
Meet locally. Leave with confidence.
Agree on a handover, check the kit together and record its condition. We’re designing identity checks and booking protection into the journey.
Give your own gear another outing
Create a listing with photos, a daily rate and availability. Share it with your outdoor community and earn from completed rentals.
Currently in development. Join early access to help shape the first local release.
